     MESSAGE FROM  THE CHIEF

On behalf of the professional law enforcement team of the Robinson Police Department, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting this web site.  Your visiting this website is an indication that you care about the community and want to know more about the Robinson Police Department. Because information covered on this website changes rapidly in this rapidly growing community, you are encouraged to check back often.

The Robinson Police Department serves a thriving and rapidly growing community estimated at about 10,895 citizens and encompasses approximately 48 square miles.  The City of Robinson is located on the south side of Waco, Texas and borders Hewitt, Texas on the city’s west side.

The City of Robinson presently has one of the lowest crime rates within Texas and is far below the national or state average crime rates.  Our success can be attributed to the support of the community and the professionalism of the men and women of our department.

The Robinson Police Department provides value-driven law enforcement services to the community and numerous programs to improve community safety. Along with the current services we provide, several new programs are being reviewed and it is my hope that we will be able to provide additional proactive law enforcement services in the near future.

We are an active department within a growing community and we are dedicated to high standards and integrity. Our department will continue to reflect our philosophy of working in partnership with the Community to create permanent solutions to problems and enhance the quality of life in Robinson while maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity

Please feel free to contact me personally or any other member of our team as we look forward to serving your needs.

Rusty Smith
Chief of Police
